Computer Science Independent Studies

A number of students in both the past and present have taken advantage of the Lafayette College Computer Science Department Independent Study program. This program provides for students to study and learn about topics in new ways, with hands-on experience, and, through working with a faculty advisor, to come up with new ways to solve interesting problems in the field of Computer Science.

Independent study research topics have included the following topics:
  • Introduction to Computational Science - Megan Cummins, Spring 06 (C.W. Liew)
  • Decision Theory and Game Theory - Ryan McCall, Spring 06 (C.W. Liew)
  • Computational models of swimming fish - Ross Creed, Spring 06 (C.W. Liew)
